Did You Know…?

A ‘vertical’ fixed ladder is not recommended. Rung type ladders should be installed at 70° - 75° to the vertical. A cage around a fixed ladder is only effective if the ladder is installed at 70° - 75° - AS/NZS 1657

There is an Australian Standard for Static Lines. AS/NZS 1891.2-2000 ‘Industrial Fall Arrest Systems and Devices – Horizontal Lifelines and Rails’ sets out the minimum requirements for all static lines. (includes anchor points, spans, clearance distance etc)
