Access Hatches

Access to roofs is an age old problem, particularly double storey or higher roofs. Rather than using a portable ladder to access these roofs, a far safer option is to install a roof access hatch. This allows access from inside the building and direct access onto the roof. Roof access hatches are best installed in plant rooms, common areas or wet areas. SRE supplies and installs many roof access hatches. These range from colour coded steel hatches to domed, ‘skylight’ hatches. Features include gas struts, friction stays, draught seals, water seal kits and lockable hatches. They range in size from 600mm X 600mm to over 2000mm in dimensions.
